Co-founder of Twitter Biz Stone sat down with Matt Lauer, Meredith Vieira, and Ann Curry on “Today” show this morning to talk about the most influential tweets of 2010: including @ClarenceHouse announcing the engagement of Prince William to Miss Catherine Middleton and @bpglobalpr making fun of BP.
But the #1 most influential tweet went to “Today”‘s own @anncurry:
@usairforce find a way to let Doctors without Borders planes land in Haiti: http://bit.ly/8hYZOK THE most effective at this.
“What really made a difference was that people retweeted it,” Curry said on the show, “They really made sure that the U.S. Air Force heard it, and they in fact let planes land.”
