Carlson on Cramer/Stewart: “This Was a Partisan Attack”

carlson_3-16.bmpTucker Carlson appeared yesterday on CNN’s Reliable Sources during a segment about Jon Stewart‘s interview with CNBC’s Jim Cramer. And unlike most in the media, his criticism was aimed at Stewart. “[Cramer] criticized Obama’s budget, and that’s what started this,” said Carlson. “Because in the end, Jon Stewart is a partisan hack.”

Host Howard Kurtz noted Carlson’s own back-and-forth with The Daily Show host, and Carlson had a similar critique. “You will never see Jon Stewart criticize the economic policy of this administration — he is acting on their behalf,” he said.

Said Carlson: “It’s just a matter of time before he becomes unfunny.”
