CBS’ Couric To Host B&C Gala
When Today show anchor Matt Lauer is inducted into Broadcasting & Cable’s Hall of Fame in October, his longtime former co-anchor will be on hand as host.
CBS Evening News anchor Katie Couric was announced today as host the 18th annual awards dinner on October 21 in New York.
Others to be honored will be FNC Chairman Roger Ailes and CBS News’ 60 Minutes (celebrating its 40th anniversary).
Couric is already in the Hall — she was inducted in 2001.
