CNBC Debates (What Else?) The Economy

The top economic advisers to Sens. John McCain and Barack Obama will take part in a series of debates focusing on the economy and airing on CNBC.

The half-hour “Your Money, Your Vote Debates,” will be broadcast on Squawk Box and be moderated by anchors Joe Kernen, Becky Quick and Carl Quintanilla as well as CNBC Chief Washington Correspondent John Harwood. The first airs this Thursday at 7:30amET and will continue for the next four weeks.

The first debate will tackle the issue of job growth and feature Jason Furman, Director of Economic Policy for the Obama campaign and Douglas Holtz-Eakin, Senior Economic Advisor to the McCain campaign.
