Colbert & Stewart Merge Rallies

For Comedy Central fans, this may seem like it was inevitable: Jon Stewart‘s “Rally to Restore Sanity” and Stephen Colbert‘s “March to Keep Fear Alive” have now merged to become the “Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear.”

Last night, Colbert appeared on Stewart’s show to beg him for a permit. With a little help from Oprah Winfrey and Arianna Huffington, the rally will draw sane people to the National Mall on Oct. 30.
