Breaking: The cable news and business networks are covering the House vote on the $700 billion bailout bill. As the tally continued to an eventual “No” vote, the dow took a nose dive, at one point down 705 points. On MSNBC, Andrea Mitchell and House producer/reporter Mike Viqueira discussed the rules that could turn some of the “no” votes around. On CNN with Kyra Phillips anchoring, Ali Velshi discussed the business side of the story. On FNC, Neil Cavuto joined the Live Desk anchors discussing the “other options” still available if this bill dies.

The broadcast networks also produced special reports on the news. ABC’s report at 2:08pmET was anchored by Charlie Gibson; correspondents Jake Tapper and Betsy Stark contributed.
