Forget the morning show wars. The new battleground is on Sundae[s].

Ben & Jerry’s revealed a new sundae this morning, named after ABC’s “Good Morning America.” The new creation is tied to the opening of a new store around the corner from ABC’s Times Square studios. The new sundae is called “Good Morning America’s Sunrise Sundae.”

The sundae features a waffle bowl, filled with Coffee, Coffee Buzz Buzz Buzz ice cream, and topped with brownie crumble, caramel sauce and whipped cream. The new “GMA”-branded sundae will be sold in all Ben & Jerry’s stores across the country through Labor Day.

Because, really, nothing says good morning like a heaping ice cream sundae.

Ben & Jerry’s has a long history of partnering with TV shows for promotional purposes. Comedy Central’s “The Colbert Report,” NBC’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and “30 Rock” have had new flavors created in their honor by the Vermont-based ice cream chain.
