Inside CNBC During Dow Freefall

Of all the days to happen to be at CNBC doing a behind the scenes story, Business Insider’s Joe Pompeo was coincidentally in Englewood Cliffs, NJ yesterday as the Dow plunged and chaos erupted on Wall Street. He was in the studio as Erin Burnett and Jim Cramer took the air.

“There’s all sorts of stuff going on!” a hurried “Power Lunch” co-anchor Sue Herera told Pompeo. “Greece is melting down. The U.S. isn’t doing so well, either. Hopefully we’ll provide some calm.”
