Kathleen Parker, Future CNN Co-Host?
The NY Post reports that syndicated conservative columnist Kathleen Parker is under consideration for a pairing with Eliot Spitzer on a new Crossfire-esque program in CNN’s 8pm time-slot. Parker merely tells the Post, “”I’ve been talking to [CNN], but there’s nothing to report.”
CNN declined to comment to TVNewser.
Rumors of Spitzer at CNN have swirled in the past month. The former-governor had also become a regular fill-in on MSNBC recently, last appearing for Dylan Ratigan on June 4th.
Parker, who won the 2010 Pulitzer for Commentary, has made numerous television appearances for segments on CNN, MSNBC, CBS, and Fox News.
After the jump, a video from last summer of Parker debating with Bill Press on CNN’s “Reliable Sources.” One of the topics: her potential future competition at 8pm, Bill O’Reilly.
