ABC insiders tell TVNewser that ABC News president David Westin and others at the network have sent letters to New Yorker publisher David Remnick, in the wake of Steve Coll‘s article attacking ABC News for its handling of the Gov. Sarah Palin interview.
Yesterday we reported ABC News was unhappy with the piece for its inaccuracies in reporting the timeline of the interview, among other issues.
We hear the New Yorker is considering what it plans to do to make the situation right. TVNewser has reached out to the New Yorker for comment.
Whatever the decision between the two organizations, it appears there may be some official response to the Coll article from ABC News.
