Matt Lauer, Brian Williams, Al Roker in NOLA
In a perfect example of corporate synergy, NBC News has “Nightly News” anchor Brian Williams (not pictured, right), Today co-anchor Matt Lauer and weatherman Al Roker and a number of reporters from CNBC and MSNBC in New Orleans today and this weekend.
They are there for the first game of the 2010-2011 NFL season between the New Orleans Saints and Minnesota Vikings, which will be televised tonight by NBC.
“Nightly,” “Today” and Weather Channel’s “Wake Up with Al” will originate from NOLA, with MSNBC and CNBC delivering live reports from around the city all day.
Our sister blog SportsNewser has much more on the kickoff, and NBC’s coverage.
