“‘Supporter of Sen. Obama?’” asked Brzezinski. “I’m not sure I would characterize myself that way, but that’s okay.”
Later in the interview, she said, “I take objection to that.”
McCain was smiling while making the comments, and Brzezinski later said, “I think he was kidding,” although she noted it was a “bad joke” because, “it’s a little bit hard for a journalist to be made fun of in that way.”
