NBC’s Access in Tehran A First For American Network

NBC’s Brian Williams wrapped up his interview with Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in time for clips to air on the Today show. Williams told anchor Matt Lauer, “we’re broadcasting from the grounds of the presidential compound in Tehran via an American television network on live television. That’s never happened before.”

Williams will also anchor Nightly News from Tehran.
