NBC’s Savannah Guthrie Gets Sarah Palin One-on-One
In an update to one of our stories from earlier today, about Gov. Sarah Palin not doing interviews with some of the news media, including NBC, MSNBC and CNN, it turns out Palin did speak with NBC’s Savannah Guthrie. The interview happened last week and aired tonight on Nightly News. The interview was about how Palin has been drawing parents of special needs children, and the kids too, to her rallies.
You can see the story after the jump. And notice how Brian Williams introduces the piece — he describes Palin as “speaking mainly to the base” while on the campaign trail. Williams is the only big three anchor who has yet to be granted an interview with Palin.
