“Nothing To” Scarborough Senate Run Speculation

Is Joe Scarborough considering a Florida Senate run?

That’s the question posed in a Sarasota Herald Tribune column today by Jeremy Wallace.

Scarborough is quoted in the column saying, “I haven’t closed it off. I’ve been getting some calls from some fundraisers in Florida.”

Speculation over whether another MSNBC personality, Chris Matthews, would run for Senate in Pennsylvania continued for months, but this one appears to already be squashed. An MSNBC spokesperson tells TVNewser, “There’s nothing to it. It’s not something Joe’s considering.”

He’s busy March 10, anyway.
