So Long, Chicago: Roland Martin Heads to DC
CNN contributor Roland Martin is relocating to the nation’s capital after living in Chicago for the last six years.
Martin announced the move in an email to the Chicago Sun-Times. Why D.C.? “Well, I go there every week to tape my TV One show, and this will significantly cut the amount of travel I do right now,” he tells the paper.
“Plus, I will have an expanded role on CNN by having my own branded segment, and this will make my availability in-studio that much easier…”
There’s no word from CNN on what that “expanded role” or “branded segment” will be.
