The “Silly and Serious” Morning Show

fandf_12-10.jpgThe New York Daily News’ Richard Huff profiles FNC’s morning mainstay, Fox & Friends — a show that, love it or hate it, has topped all cable news morning shows in Total Viewers for the last 85 months.

Brian Kilmeade says what makes Fox News Channel’s ‘Fox & Friends’ work each day is that it easily bounces between silly and serious,” writes Huff.

But Huff also describes the “airtime to fight Fox battles” part of the show.

“When someone takes a shot at us, this show, because it’s so light at times, we do on occasion take some shots. It’s never in an over-the-top way,” says co-host Steve Doocy.
