Thomas Roberts to Anchor 3 PM Hour in December for MSNBC
It seems that Thomas Roberts‘ star is rising at MSNBC. The anchorĀ filled in for “Countdown” host Keith Olbermann during his suspension a few weeks back, and has been appearing regularly during the dayside hours since. He has also joined MSNBC in a staff position, rather than the freelance role he had before.
Earlier today he tweeted that he would be anchoring the 3 PM hour for the month of December.

Martin Bashir is slated to take over the 3 PM slot, though a premiere date for his show has not been announced. In November, another up-and-coming MSNBC contributor, Cenk Uyger, filled in at 3 PM.
