Tiger Talks and the Networks Listen

Sorry “Price is Right” fans, CBS as well as ABC and NBC will produce special reports tomorrow as Tiger Woods makes his first public statement in nearly three months. Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos will anchor for ABC. Katie Couric anchors for CBS and Matt Lauer, from Vancouver, will anchor NBC’s special report when Tiger takes to the podium at 11amET. (This will not interrupt Olympic competition on NBC, as coverage does not begin until 3pm tomorrow).
Woods will not take questions from the assembled press.
The cable news and business networks: CNN, CNBC, HLN, Fox News, Fox Business, and MSNBC will also carry the statement. HLN is calling its special “Tiger Woods: Breaking his Silence” co-anchored by Mike Galanos and Jane Velez-Mitchell.
