Who’ll Be Next for CNN at 8pm?

It’s been less than a day since news broke of Campbell Brown‘s CNN departure, which in blogland, is like 17 news cycles.

So it’s time to ask: who will CNN select to anchor the 8pmET hour?

The first big question is whether CNN will dip into its own talent pool or pull in a splashy outsider. Yeas and Nays claims to hear Eliot Spitzer could be under consideration, but the former Governor and occasional MSNBC fill-in has already shot that down.
