Willie Geist Says Goodbye To ‘Way Too Early’

MSNBC’s Willie Geist hosted his last “Way Too Early” this morning, almost three and a half years after the show began in the wee hours of the morning leading up to “Morning Joe.”

Geist is moving on to NBC’s “Today,” and will remain a regular on “Morning Joe.” In the meantime, “Way Too Early” will live on.

“Joe and Mika will hold down the fort, until we can lure Larry King or Regis out of retirement,” Geist quipped. “You work in relative obscurity at 5:30 in the morning in exchange for free Starbucks pastries.”
