Professional Experience
I am a writer, editor, and copyeditor. I research and write books, magazine articles, and for the web. My background, in addition to writing and editing is in cultural anthropology. I was the editor-in-chief of the archaeology and anthropology magazine, Expedition. I also have worked as an ethnographic consultant, further enhancing my skills a strong writer and a solid researcher. I would love to work creatively and collaboratively on a freelance per project basis as a writer, editor adn researcher. I ahve particular geographic expertise in writing on France, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Germany, England, and the USA. Topical specialities are travel, food and wine, outdoors and adventure, spiritual, and cross-cultural writing and editing.
