Theresa Heim

After receiving my BA in English Literature/Creative writing from UCLA, and my MFA in Creative Writing from Antioch University, I have been successfully freelancing for the past 13 years. I have extensive experience in blogging, essays and articles, and also short stories. I have been featured in Bang, An Anthology, Salon.Com, and recently, the LA Times. I contributed feature articles for the newspaper, The Palisadian Post, as well as the national parenting website, Momtastic, for which I developed the educational series: “The Out and About Classroom.” I am the owner/founder of Abeautifulfit.com, a blog dedicated to promoting women's health, and I am currently a parenting, fitness and nutrition blogger for the website: www.kuyam.com. My short story, “Memoir of a Violin” was included in A Cup of Comfort, an anthology of inspirational stories that made the National Bestseller’s list. My story, “Angel in Camouflage” was included in the next book in the Comfort series.
