Professional Experience
Danielle Ryan is a writer, graphic designer, film lover and podcaster. She earned a
bachelor’s degree in English and writing from Georgia Gwinnett College, and her byline has
appeared in Paste Magazine, Fandom.com and Birth.Movies.Death. Ryan worked at
CNN Medical during the 2014 ebola crisis, and she once wrote a report that was
presented at the United Nations.
In addition to the considerable variety of her writing resume, Ryan is a certified
commercial graphic designer, proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, as well
as the Microsoft Office Suite, HTML and CSS. A lifetime artist, Ryan spends her free
time drawing and painting.
Ryan is the former host of weekly entertainment podcast Freaky Fandoms, which has a subscriber
base of over 500 and growing. She loves all cinema but is especially passionate
about horror films. And she’s proven herself a polished and engaging on-camera
