Georgia Keighery

My affair with writing has been long-running and saucy. In 1998, as a fresh-out and desperate actor, I co-founded Prompt Theatre with Imara Savage in Sydney. I began to write the characters I wanted to perform and I've been writing ever since. My performer passion gave way to my word nerd, and whilst I continued to write plays I halted the acting gig in favour of writing in every possible flavour, in every available minute. In terms of freelance journalism, I've been a columnist for ArtsHub Australia, a travel writer for SheGoes, the copy editor for Spacehacker, and the contributing editor for a newly-released book "The Binge Code". I specialise in arts & culture, travel, lifestyle, health + nutrition, and profile writing. I have 4 plays published through the Australian Script Centre, and I've had 8 scripts professionally produced both here in Australia and in the UK.
