Based in the Washington, DC area my writing career spans journalism, public relations, and marketing communications. Currently, I specialize in personal essays, reported pieces about personal business, health, family and lifestyle topics.

I am accredited by the Public Relations Society of America and hold an MA in public communications from American University where I have also been an adjunct professor.
