Professional Experience
I began my career as a graphic designer while I was in high-school; it all started with an after school job at a small desktop publishing storefront shop in Brooklyn. This was back in the day when Pagemaker was King and Queen Latifah was still just a Princess. I put myself through SUNY Buffalo by designing resumes and newsletters (or that's how I earned my beer and wings money). Over the past 20 years, I have worked as a book designer, a newspaper designer, and most often, as a magazine designer. I have dined at some of the best publishing house cafeterias NYC has to offer, including Fairchild, Conde Nast, Hearst, and the New York Times. Hands down, Rodale has the best snack closet. In my free time, I enjoy kerning and leading.
