Laura Brady

I’m a lifelong writer working to break into the freelance market. I’m interested in expanding my career and forming contacts with a community of writers. I graduated from the University of Oregon with a BA in English Literature. I’m a versatile writer with a variety of ideas, interests and skills. I was an editor/writer on Rain magazine for a year before it was shelved for financial reasons. I’ve completed one novel and am working on my next. I have worked as a chef/baker in restaurants, and an administrative assistant/radio controller/weather observer in a small municipal airport. I’ve served on and chaired Communications Committees and written a church newsletter. I’ve traveled extensively in the U.S and abroad. I actively research and develop recipes in my passion for food and wine. I currently live near Charleston, SC and am exploring the richness of the cuisine and restaurants in the area.
