For 15 years I've been writing about travel, food and wine for national publications, but I've also covered everything from murder trials to writers, architects and artists. Much as I love travel, I also enjoy writing profiles and am a true research hound. I'm comfortable writing for both print and internet. Because I grew up a government brat living in the Middle East and Southeast Asia, I have an overview not only of these regions but of the history of U.S. relations with them. I have worked as both a full-time and freelance editor.
