Professional Experience

If you want a writer and editor with excellent people skills and the ability to quickly grasp complex content, you’ve found the right profile. While many lovers of the written word may prefer to get their work and disappear, I thrive on both intense concentration and devotion to my work while building strong client relationships and doing outside research. I’m a well-versed B2B writer with experience creating content for: email, newsletters, direct mail and online. As a copy editor, I believe in transparency and communication with my clients to make sure that all editing work done is in line with the author or company’s intended vision for the work.

General

This is a sample of one of the newsletters I wrote for Steppenwolf Theatre. The goal of these communications is to let associate members (and the public) know what is going on at the theatre and support the mission of the Steppenwolf for Young Adults program, which is nationally recognized.
A short story I wrote in 2015.
Sample of an offer email written in order to get customers to opt into the direct mail program. Each month these were sent out, often with tweaked copy and creative to create a more customized and local feel.
