Journalist and editor with more than 20 years of professional experience. Co-editor of the Sacramento News & Review, an award-winning alternative weekly. Former features writer for the Sacramento Bee. My areas of expertise are women's issues, technology, arts & humanities and music. This means I've written on eveything from the Supreme Court's rulings on reproductive rights to Google and popular music. Yes, this means I've written a lot about Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears during my career. Somebody has to do it. I also write young adult fiction and am currently working on a novel.
