Professional Experience
Scholarly copy editor, proofreader, and copy writer.
I specialize in fiction and literature, but I read other subjects as well, including religious studies, history, and politics. In addition to four years of freelancing, I have three years of in-house experience with university presses and journals.
I write book jacket and catalog copy for Southern Illinois University Press, where I also created advertising campaigns and ran the book awards division while serving as a marketing assistant.
My recent projects include
* The Lovers Set Down Their Spoons by Heather A. Slomski
* Family Feeling by Jean Ross Justice
* Congotronic by Shane Book
* India’s Organic Farming Revolution by Sapna Thottahil
* Religion and Women in Britain, c. 1660–1760 edited by Sarah Apetrei and Hannah Smith
* Literature and the Encounter with God in Post-Reformation England by Michael Martin
* Eager to Love: The Alternative Way of Francis of Assisi by Richard Rohr
