Community Manager Responsibilities

  • Oversee all operations of a housing community, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, and administrative tasks.
  • Supervise staff, ensure compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing laws.
  • Manage budgets, financial reports, and revenue strategies to maximize net operating income.
  • Develop and implement marketing and leasing strategies to attract and retain residents.
  • Handle resident relations, complaints, and retention programs.
  • Ensure property maintenance, safety, and appearance meet company standards.
  • Coordinate emergency responses and maintenance activities efficiently.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in property management or related field.
  • Certifications such as CAM or ARM preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Physical and Other Requirements

  • Ability to work on-site regularly, including weekends and evenings if needed.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as moving objects up to 25 lbs., working in various environments, and responding to emergencies.
  • Reliable transportation is required for emergency on-call duties.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000 per year.
