Position Summary
This is a salaried position scheduled at 50 hours/week; however, during training, this position is paid at an equivalent hourly rate and scheduled for 40 hours per week.
What you'll do
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring; assigning duties; setting expectations; recognizing associates; promoting a belonging mindset; recruiting and developing qualified staff to meet staffing needs and support company growth. Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by building relationships with stakeholders; supporting plans to meet customer and business needs; setting goals; measuring progress; identifying improvements; and demonstrating adaptability and continuous learning. Leads and develops teams through teaching, training, active listening, store tours, feedback, and collaboration across all levels, utilizing technology, supporting change efforts, and communicating business objectives. Ensures exceptional customer service by following the OBW service model, managing customer initiatives, resolving issues, and leading process improvements. Ensures compliance with policies, supports company values, and promotes ethics and integrity. Drives store financial performance through P&L review, budgeting, expense control, merchandise presentation, inventory management, and shrinking mitigation. Embraces diversity, fosters a culture of belonging, builds trust, and recognizes contributions. Acts with integrity, maintaining high standards of ethics and compliance, and supports Walmart’s mission to be a positive force. Focuses on delivering results with the customer in mind, making informed decisions, and supporting continuous improvement and technological adoption.

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $80,000.00, with additional bonuses and potential location-based pay adjustments.
Minimum Qualifications
2 years of college, or 1 year of retail experience plus 1 year of supervisory experience, or 2 years of general work experience plus 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearm-specific CBC and training are required. Associates must complete all required trainings and assessments.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership via Live Better U and Bellevue University, Certificate in People and Business Leadership, and experience supervising 5+ direct reports with responsibilities including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
