Position Summary

Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring; assigning duties; setting expectations; recognizing associates; communicating effectively; promoting a belonging mindset; recruiting and developing qualified staff to meet staffing needs and support company growth. Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by building relationships with stakeholders; supporting plans to meet customer and business needs; setting goals; building accountability; measuring progress; identifying improvements; and demonstrating adaptability and continuous learning. Leads teams by teaching, training, listening, providing feedback, and communicating store operations, technology, initiatives, and company direction. Ensures exceptional customer service by following the OBW service model, supporting customer initiatives, resolving issues, and leading process improvements. Ensures compliance with policies, supports company values, and promotes an ethical workplace. Drives financial performance by reviewing P&L statements, managing budgets, monitoring merchandise presentation, inventory, and operational processes, and developing plans to meet sales and profit goals. Embraces diversity, builds trust, acts with integrity, delivers customer results, strives for excellence, and supports change. Salary range is $65,000 - $80,000, with potential additional compensation based on location and external factors.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years of college; OR 1 year retail and 1 year supervisory experience; OR 2 years general work and 1 year supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific CBC and training is required. All associates must complete required trainings and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership or equivalent, with experience supervising 5+ direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
