Position Summary

Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring; assigning duties; setting clear expectations; recognizing associates; communicating effectively; promoting a belonging mindset; recruiting and developing qualified staff to meet staffing needs and company growth.

Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by building relationships with stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives; setting and measuring goals; identifying improvement opportunities; demonstrating adaptability; and fostering continuous learning.

Leads and develops teams through teaching, training, listening, store tours, feedback, and collaboration across all levels; supporting change efforts; providing guidance; and communicating business objectives effectively.

Models exceptional customer service by following the OBW service model, supporting initiatives, resolving customer issues, implementing process improvements, and ensuring high-quality customer experiences.

Ensures compliance with policies and supports company values by implementing action plans, utilizing the Open Door Policy, and guiding on business practices.

Drives financial performance by reviewing P&L statements, managing budgets, monitoring inventory and operational processes, and developing strategies to meet sales and profit goals.

Respects individuals by embracing diversity, fostering a supportive workplace, building trust, mentoring others, and recognizing contributions.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years of college OR 1 year retail experience plus 1 year supervisory experience OR 2 years general work experience plus 1 year supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific CBC and training is required. Associates must complete all job-required training and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, or a Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership, with experience supervising 5+ direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
