Our Lamar office is currently seeking a new Account Executive (salary + commission) to help us create exciting outdoor advertising campaigns for brands in Paducah, KY and surrounding areas.

We are looking for a motivated sales professional who thrives on the thrill of making each sale, whether big or small. Our Sales team has been rated #1 for 2025 on Comparably, and our Account Executives are essential in connecting Lamar with the communities we serve.

As an Account Executive, you will meet and exceed sales objectives in your designated territory by applying professional sales techniques to forge long-lasting advertising partnerships that not only enhance Lamar’s sales but also strengthen our community ties.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • A college degree is preferred.
  • Prior outdoor advertising sales experience is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is expected.
  • Experience with CRM software is preferred.

A day in the life includes:

  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets while tracking your personal sales data.
  • Targeting local businesses and regularly visiting both Lamar clients and competitor clients within your territory.
  • Understanding both local and national competition.
  • Efficiently clustering accounts for effective management.
  • Identifying growth opportunities and onboarding new clients.
  • Utilizing company tools to locate prospects, follow up on leads, and prepare proposals and presentations.
  • Participating in sales meetings, regional meetings, seminars, and trade shows actively.
  • Handling administrative tasks, including maintaining organized records of sales activity and client orders.

Physical demands and work environment:

  • This role encompasses a mix of office work and field activities to service sales accounts.
  • Physical demands may include light lifting and decent mobility with less than 50% of time spent sitting.
  • Travel might involve occasional overnight stays, but less than 10% of the time.
