Position Summary

Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring; assigning duties; setting clear expectations; providing recognition; communicating effectively; promoting a belonging mindset; recruiting and developing qualified associates to meet staffing needs and support company growth. Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities by developing relationships with stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives; identifying and communicating goals; building accountability; measuring progress; addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning. Leads and develops teams through teaching, training, active listening, store tours, feedback, and collaboration across all levels of store operations, including technology, merchandising, and company initiatives. Ensures exceptional customer service by following the OBW service model, supporting customer service initiatives, resolving issues, and leading process improvements. Ensures compliance with policies, supports company mission and values, and promotes an ethical work environment. Drives store financial performance by reviewing P&L statements, managing budgets, controlling expenses, monitoring merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes, and developing action plans to meet sales and profit goals. Embraces diversity, fosters a culture of belonging, builds trust, and develops others. Acts with integrity by upholding high standards of ethics and compliance, supporting Walmart's culture, and being accountable. Focuses on customer satisfaction, making informed decisions, balancing priorities, and considering the impact on stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications

2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience plus 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience plus 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required. For ammunition-only facilities with state-specific requirements, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required. Associates must attend and complete all required training and assessments, including Academy and Open Door trainings.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, or experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
