Position Summary

Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring; assigning duties; setting clear expectations; recognizing associates; communicating effectively; fostering a belonging mindset; and recruiting qualified staff to meet staffing and growth goals. Coordinates activities by building relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans, identifying goals, building accountability, and promoting continuous learning. Leads teams through teaching, training, feedback, and collaboration; manages store operations, merchandising, and company initiatives; and leads change efforts. Ensures exceptional customer service by following the OBW service model, resolving customer issues, and implementing process improvements. Ensures compliance with policies, supports company values and ethics, and promotes a positive work environment. Drives financial performance by managing P&L, budgeting, inventory, and operational processes. Embraces diversity, acts with integrity, prioritizes customer needs, and strives for excellence through continuous improvement and technology adoption. Minimum Qualifications

2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a CBC and Firearms Training is required. For ammunition-only facilities, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required. Associates must complete all job-related training and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, or a Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership. Experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
