Position Summary
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, recognizing associates, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace. Responsible for recruiting and developing qualified associates to meet staffing needs and support company growth. Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by building relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, and promoting continuous learning. Leads and develops teams through teaching, training, feedback, and effective communication regarding store operations, technology, and business initiatives. Ensures exceptional customer service by following the OBW service model, managing customer issues, and leading process improvements. Ensures compliance with company policies, supports company values, and supports ethical practices. Drives financial performance by managing P&L, budgeting, inventory, and operational processes to meet sales and profit goals. Embraces diversity, acts with integrity, delivers excellent customer service, and strives for continuous improvement. The annual salary range is $65,000.00-$80,000.00, with additional performance bonuses and potential location-based pay adjustments.
Minimum Qualifications
2 years of college; or 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; or 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific CBC and training is required. For ammunition-only facilities, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required. Associates must attend and complete all required trainings and assessments.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. Experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
