Position Summary
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and setting clear expectations. Promotes a belonging mindset in the workplace, recruits and develops qualified associates to meet staffing needs, and supports company growth. Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by building relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, and promoting continuous learning. Leads teams effectively through teaching, training, and feedback; collaborates on store operations, merchandising, and company initiatives; and implements business solutions. Ensures exceptional customer service by modeling standards, managing customer initiatives, resolving issues, and leading process improvements. Ensures compliance with policies, supports company values, and promotes an ethical work environment. Drives financial performance by reviewing P&L statements, managing budgets, monitoring merchandise presentation, and developing action plans to meet sales and profit goals. The annual salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000, with potential bonuses and additional compensation based on location and external factors.
Minimum Qualifications
2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required. For ammunition-only facilities, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required. Associates must attend and complete all required training and assessments, such as Academy and Open Door trainings.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University; Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University; experience supervising 5+ direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
