Position Summary
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring staff; assigning duties; setting clear expectations; recognizing associates; communicating effectively; promoting a belonging mindset; recruiting and developing qualified staff to meet staffing needs and support company growth. Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by building relationships with stakeholders; supporting business plans; setting goals; measuring progress; identifying improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and continuous learning.
Leads and develops teams through teaching, training, and active listening; touring stores and providing feedback; collaborating with all levels on store operations, technology, business initiatives, and merchandising; leading change efforts; providing guidance for business solutions; and effectively communicating business objectives.
Models exceptional customer service by following the OBW service model; supporting customer service initiatives; resolving customer issues; developing action plans for deficiencies; and leading process improvements to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Ensures compliance with policies and supports the company mission, values, and ethics by implementing related actions; utilizing the Open Door Policy; and guiding on business practices.
Drives financial performance by reviewing P&L statements; managing budgets and expenses; monitoring merchandise presentation, inventory, and operational processes; and developing plans to meet sales and profit goals.

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00-$80,000.00, with additional bonuses and potential location-based pay adjustments.
Minimum Qualifications
2 years of college; OR 1 year retail and 1 year supervisory experience; OR 2 years general work and 1 year supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific CBC and training are required. Associates must attend and complete all required trainings and assessments.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, Certificate in People and Business Leadership, and experience supervising 5+ direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
