Position Summary
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring; assigning duties; setting expectations; recognizing associates; communicating effectively; promoting a belonging mindset; recruiting and developing qualified staff to meet staffing needs and support company growth. Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by building relationships with stakeholders; supporting plans to meet customer and business needs; setting goals; measuring progress; identifying improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and continuous learning.
Leads and develops teams through teaching, training, and active listening; touring stores and providing feedback; communicating store operations and initiatives; leading change efforts; setting clear expectations; and implementing business solutions. Ensures exceptional customer service by following the OBW service model, supporting customer service initiatives, resolving issues, and leading process improvements to enhance customer experience.
Ensures compliance with policies and supports company values by implementing related action plans, supporting the Open Door Policy, and guiding on business practices. Manages financial performance by reviewing P&L statements, assisting with budgeting, controlling expenses, monitoring merchandise presentation, inventory, and operational processes, and developing plans to achieve sales and profit goals.

Minimum Qualifications
2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific CBC and training is required. Facilities selling only ammunition may require a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility. Associates must complete all required training and assessments, such as Academy and Open Door trainings.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership via Live Better U and Bellevue University; Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership; experience supervising 5+ direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
