Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring; assigning duties; setting clear expectations; providing recognition; communicating effectively to promote a belonging mindset; and recruiting qualified associates to meet staffing needs and support company growth. Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by building relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, setting goals, measuring progress, and promoting continuous learning.

Leads and develops teams through teaching, training, and active listening; touring stores to provide feedback; collaborating across all levels regarding store operations, technology, and company initiatives; leading change efforts; and communicating objectives clearly.

Models exceptional customer service standards by following the OBW service model; managing customer service initiatives; resolving customer issues; developing action plans for improvements; and leading process enhancements for a high-quality customer experience.

Ensures compliance with policies and supports the company's mission and ethics by implementing related actions, supporting the Open Door Policy, and guiding staff accordingly.

Drives financial performance by reviewing P&L statements, managing budgets, controlling expenses, monitoring merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes; and developing strategies to mitigate shrink and meet sales and profit goals.

Respects individuals by embracing diversity, creating a supportive workplace, attracting talent, and fostering a culture of belonging. Builds trust and communicates positively to motivate teams, and mentors others, recognizing their contributions.

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00-$80,000.00, with potential additional bonuses and location-based pay adjustments.

Minimum Qualifications...

2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm-related roles, successful completion of a background check and training are required. All associates must complete required trainings and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications...

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Leadership or related certifications; experience supervising 5+ direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
