Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

Position Summary

What you'll do... Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring; assigning duties; setting expectations; recognizing associates; communicating effectively; promoting belonging; recruiting and developing qualified staff to meet staffing needs and support company growth. Coordinates activities by building relationships with stakeholders; supporting plans to meet customer and business needs; setting goals; measuring progress; identifying improvement opportunities; and promoting continuous learning. Leads and develops teams through teaching, training, and listening; touring stores and providing feedback; communicating store operations, business initiatives, and company direction; leading change efforts; and guiding teams in business solutions. Ensures exceptional customer service by following the OBW service model; managing customer initiatives; resolving issues; implementing improvement plans; and leading process improvements. Ensures compliance with policies and supports company values and ethics by implementing related plans; supporting the Open Door Policy; and guiding on business practices. Drives store financial performance by reviewing P&L statements; managing budgets; monitoring merchandise presentation, inventory, and operations; and developing strategies to mitigate shrink and meet sales and profit goals. Respects individuals by embracing diversity; creating a supportive workplace; attracting top talent; building trust; and mentoring others. Acts with integrity by maintaining high standards of ethics and compliance, modeling Walmart values, and supporting sustainability goals. The annual salary range is $65,000 - $80,000, with additional performance bonuses and potential regional or complex structure pay adjustments.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years of college; or 1 year retail and 1 year supervisory experience; or 2 years general work and 1 year supervisory experience. For firearm-related roles, successful completion of background checks and training are required. All associates must complete required trainings and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Leadership; certification in People and Business Leadership; experience supervising 5+ direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
