Position Summary
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring; assigning duties; setting clear expectations; recognizing associates; communicating effectively; promoting a belonging mindset; recruiting and developing qualified staff to meet staffing needs and support company growth. Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by building relationships with stakeholders, supporting business plans, identifying goals, building accountability, measuring progress, and promoting continuous learning. Leads and develops teams through teaching, training, active listening, store tours, feedback, and collaboration on store operations, technology, merchandising, and company initiatives. Ensures exceptional customer service by following the OBW service model, managing customer issues, and leading process improvements. Ensures compliance with policies, supports Walmart's mission and values, and fosters an ethical work environment. Drives financial performance by reviewing P&L statements, managing budgets, controlling expenses, monitoring inventory and operational processes, and developing action plans to meet sales and profit goals.

The annual salary range is $65,000-$80,000, with additional bonuses and potential location-based pay adjustments.
Minimum Qualifications
2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific CBC and training is required. For ammunition-only facilities with state-specific requirements, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be necessary. Associates must attend and complete all required trainings and assessments, such as Academy and Open Door trainings.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership, and experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
