Position Summary...

Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring; assigning duties; setting clear expectations; providing recognition; communicating effectively; promoting a belonging mindset; and recruiting qualified associates to meet staffing needs and support company growth.

Leads and develops teams through teaching, training, listening, store tours, feedback, and collaboration across all levels; supports change initiatives; and communicates business objectives clearly.

Models exceptional customer service by following the OBW service model, supporting customer initiatives, resolving issues, and leading process improvements for a high-quality customer experience.

Ensures compliance with policies, supports company mission and values, and upholds ethics and integrity through action plans, open-door policies, and guidance on business practices.

Drives financial performance by reviewing P&L statements, managing budgets, monitoring merchandise presentation, inventory, operational processes, and developing strategies to mitigate shrink and meet sales and profit goals.

Minimum Qualifications...

2 years of college; OR 1 year retail and 1 year supervisory experience; OR 2 years general work and 1 year supervisory experience. For firearm-related roles, successful background checks and certifications are required. All associates must complete required training and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications...

Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Leadership or related field; or completion of Live Better U programs; and experience supervising 5+ direct reports with responsibilities including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
