Position Summary

Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties; setting clear expectations; recognizing associates; communicating effectively; fostering a sense of belonging; and recruiting qualified staff to meet staffing and growth needs.

Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by building relationships with stakeholders; supporting plans to meet customer and business needs; setting goals; measuring progress; identifying improvements; and demonstrating adaptability and continuous learning.

Leads and develops teams through training, feedback, and communication; manages store operations; supports change initiatives; and ensures business objectives are met.

Models exceptional customer service by following the OBW service model; supporting customer initiatives; resolving issues; and leading process improvements for a high-quality customer experience.

Ensures compliance with policies and supports company values through action plans, open-door policy, and guidance on business practices.

Drives financial performance by reviewing P&L statements; managing budgets; controlling expenses; monitoring inventory; and implementing plans to achieve sales and profit goals.

Embraces diversity, builds trust, and fosters a culture of belonging; works as a team; and recognizes contributions.

Acts with integrity by upholding high standards of ethics and compliance; being humble, honest, and transparent.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific CBC and training is required. All associates must complete required trainings and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership via Live Better U and Bellevue University; Certificate in People and Business Leadership; experience supervising 5+ direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
