Beauty Advisor Freelancer - Estee Lauder - Wichita, KS. The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. is a leading manufacturer, marketer, and seller of skin care, makeup, fragrance, and hair care products with brands including Estée Lauder, Clinique, MAC, La Mer, Bobbi Brown, Aveda, Jo Malone London, and more. This role provides makeup application, skincare advice, hair or fragrance consultations, and creates a welcoming, inspirational, and personalized in-store experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service.
• Demonstrate makeup artistry, skincare or fragrance consultations as applicable.
• Support in-store events and contribute to visual merchandising to help the store stand out.
• Collaborate with a high-performing team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred; applicants with amateur or beginner-level experience who demonstrate high levels of creative and technical expertise will be considered.
• Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service.
• Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
• Applicants must be able to provide proof of right to live and work in the country if invited to attend an interview.

Pay and Benefits

The anticipated hourly range is $21.60 to $32.40. Exact rate depends on factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. This position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The Estée Lauder Companies also offers benefits including health insurance, wellness programs, retirement savings plans, paid leave and holidays, and other programs; many benefits are subsidized or fully paid by the company.
