Debt Negotiator (Creditor Escalations)
National Debt Relief, LLC is seeking a full‑time remote Debt Negotiator to help clients regain control of their financial futures by negotiating directly with creditors and law firms. The role focuses on high‑volume creditor negotiations conducted under the FDCPA, aiming to reach settlements that best serve our clients’ interests.
Key responsibilities include:
Negotiate client debts to completion, including reviewing client savings and securing settlements that halt legal action.
Establish and maintain relationships with law firms and creditors.
Analyze client portfolios to develop the most effective strategies for financial freedom.
Review banking accounts to determine available funds for program execution.
Achieve monthly KPIs set by management.
Gather and submit required legal documentation for account approval and payment.
Liaise with attorneys and paralegals on escalated accounts.
Communicate with creditors via phone or email to obtain up‑to‑date litigation information.
Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient processes.
Manage confidential information with discretion.
Perform other duties as directed by manager(s).
Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant work experience.
Experience in a metrics‑based, goal‑driven environment preferred.
Strong analytical mindset, business acumen, professionalism, and communication skills.
High energy, competitive, articulate, passionate, and motivated to deliver best‑in‑class service.
Desire to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
Excellent multitasking and organizational skills.
Ability to build rapport with clients and creditors.
Computer competency and experience with a CRM platform (Salesforce preferred).
Prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Punctuality and reliability, consistent attendance.
Maintain high performance expectations on a monthly basis.
Work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting.
Remain calm and professional during difficult discussions and take constructive feedback.
Availability for full‑time position; overtime eligible if classified non‑exempt.
Compensation
Base rate starts at $19.81/hr ($41,204.80 annually).
Performance‑based bonuses can bring total average compensation to $80,000 annually; the top 25% can earn up to $90,000.
